The Jr. High DYG will be full of fun, games, music and messages—but that’s just part of the DYG. You are a primary tool God wants to use! At the DYG, you will be helping run events and interacting with middle school students. Please don’t underestimate how vital your role as a Volunteer is to the success of the DYG. We COULDN’T do this without you!

Your Role At The DYG:
In short, the role of a volunteer at the DYG is to build relationships with students and to help create the best possible atmosphere for God to touch their lives. Volunteers work side-by-side with the leadership of the DYG, and without question, play a major role in setting the tone for the entire DYG experience.


Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as overseers—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away - 1 Peter 5:2-4

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins - 1 Peter 4:8
