PSD DCE Conference

Huge thanks to all those in attendance at our 2012 PSD DCE Conference in Costa Mesa! You dug in and took hold of the challenge to reevaluate and make changes to how we minister to youth and families in the Pacific Southwest District.

A detailed report will be forth coming soon to let us all know about the plans and projects in the works based on our time together.

As announced near the conclusion of our conference, NADCE will be announcing the location of their 2013 national conference later this month.  Watch this page for up-date information on the details of that announcement, especially since Phoenix as a possible locations!

National Lutheran Youth Workers Conference

At NATIONAL12, we will gather around the theme "Remember.” We hope to see you in San Antonio next summer as we receive encouragement in God's Word and from one another to remember what God has done for us in Jesus Christ.

What Happens at the NATIONAL Lutheran Youth Workers Conference (NATIONAL)?

At NATIONAL, you will...

Be affirmed in the service your work provides the Church through encouragement, celebration, and recognition of your calling to be a youth worker.

Discover practical skills and relevant theory for effective youth ministry.

Network with volunteer and professional youth workers through fellowship and community building.

Be challenged and equipped to develop youth ministry programs that focus youth to Christ in mission, program, and outreach.

Leave enriched by content that is timely for your ministry and applies your understanding of that ministry in your day to day vocation.

Get an inside look at the 2013 National LMCS Youth Gathering general program and the city of San Antonio.

Should I attend NATIONAL?

If you serve youth in the congregational or school setting as a pastor, DCE, teacher, lay volunteer, Mom, Dad, or friend – you want to attend the National Lutheran Youth Workers Conference, sponsored by the Youth Ministry Office of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.  This conference is open to individuals and teams serving youth in Lutheran congregations across the country.

Congregations are encouraged to consider sending senior high youth who are leaders in the Church to participate in the event alongside their youth leaders.  Youth are invited to register with their youth leaders, participate in the conference and attend leadership training modules designed for youth.

NATIONAL strives to provide a comprehensive program that meets the needs and challenges the minds of professionals and volunteers working with junior and senior high youth in the Lutheran congregational setting.
