Pastor Jim Henkell
Pastor Jim Henkell is a popular preacher and conference speaker. His sermons are known for their creativity and Christ-centeredness. His seminars are known for their insight, humor and motivation. He has spoke at more than 100 youth ministry events across the country, including our last four National Youth Gatherings. Pastor Jim is a graduate of Concordia University Irvine and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.
He serves as pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School in San Diego, and is past-president of the Board of Regents for Lutheran High School San Diego. Pastor Jim, and his wife, Kelly, are the proud parents of two District Junior High Youth Gathering participants, Noah (age 14) and Reagan (age 12).

Kip Fox
Kip Fox, has been involved in worship ministry since 2003. He serves on the Leadership Team for a Lutheran network of music ministers, known as the Worship Arts Leadership Institute (WALI). As a recognized leader in the Church and a talented musician, Kip has also been given the opportunity to reach a breadth of audiences on the national stage, most notably the LCMS National Youth Gatherings in 2007 and 2010.
Kip considers it his calling to be a songwriter for the Church and recently released his third album in 2011, a collection of original worship songs entitled, “This Dust.” For more about Kip, visit www.kipfox.com.
