Church Worker Family Needs SUrvey
This was the first question that God addressed to Adam and Eve. It was not a question for which an omniscient God did not have the answer. It was a question for Adam and Eve to consider in their newly fallen state. Where are you in your brokenness? Where are you in your relationship with Me? From here, the Lord spelled out the plan of restoration and salvation. As Adam and Eve recognized their need, God desired and planned to meet their need.
Each of you is engaged in some aspect of ministry in the body of Christ as an ordained, commissioned or non-rostered worker. You are in some way recognized as having an important presence in the church whether it is in direct ministry, administration or other supportive role. Our church workers and staff are impacted by an array of emotional, relational, mental and physical impairments which are taxing them from their calling and roles in ministry.
In order to best provide needed care, support and restoration, efforts at the synodical and district levels are being taken and your voice is important. We are asking the question of each of you: WHERE ARE YOU? In the upcoming months, the Pacific Southwest District will be implementing the Church Worker Family Needs Survey (FNS) in an effort to provide focused, effective, solid solutions and resources for identified needs. This will serve as a pathway to preventative and/or recuperative interventions for the health and well-being of church workers and their families.
You will all be asked to be a part of this wonderful project and undertaking. You will be hearing more during this campaign to encourage participation and assure every church worker and their spouse/fiancé the opportunity to share with us in a safe, confidential and anonymous way; WHERE ARE YOU?
